Two friends, Victor and Pablo, and a young photographer Martina, the former's current partner, search for different reasons for the spirit of a woman called Ainur in a city without a past, Nur Sultan, the new capital of Kazakhstan. Victor, Ainur's husband who died in an accident, travels to her native country to visit her family and together remember her legacy. Pablo, secretly in love with Ainur, intends to reunite with her by searching for her soul in the streets and buildings of the city where he was born. Martina tries to understand the reason for the fascination that Victor and Pablo still feel for that woman she never met, recording a documentary about the city and its people.
From the casting of this documentary, a group of young Kasajas will emerge in which the three protagonists will try to find a reflection of Ainur. Gonzalo García Pelayo surprises us again in this second work of the series “The year of 10+1 films” with a risky story filmed thousands of kilometers away in a fascinating city where different ways of loving the same person come together. : the carnal, the spiritual, the imagined...
