An Unexpected Valentine
剧情简介
It's Valentine's Day in Manhattan. Finn, an artistic photographer who is moving in a new direction in highlighting human figures in his work rather than just photographing landscapes, needs to supplement his income by driving for a ride share car service. Although many of his non-human transport deliveries this day are in support of love and romance, he is a bit cynical about love himself, although he loves meeting people to talk about their lives. Of his passengers of the human variety, his last to drop off this afternoon is Hannah, a product developer for a chocolate company, who, unlike Finn, is a hopeful romantic, but who, between boyfriends, was initially planning on curling up on the sofa by herself this evening. In an unscheduled stop, Hannah finds a ring box with an engagement ring inside which was wedged within the car's backseat. Rather than Finn's routine to drop off lost items at headquarters in Brooklyn before his next shift the following day, Hannah is able to convince him to find whoever lost the ring to ensure that its intended recipient gets it on what was probably a planned romantic proposal today, with Hannah to ride shotgun and it needing to work within his already scheduled remaining deliveries. Finn knows that the ring had to have made it into the car today, meaning one of the three passengers who Hannah had shared a ride with, or the elderly couple in the morning "pre-Hannah". They only have a few hours to find the owner as they both have scheduled appointments at 21:00h, Finn at an art gallery where his first human-focused collection is being displayed, and Hannah at a work function for the launch of her latest chocolate confection. In what is figuratively a scavenger hunt with a few needed detours, the questions beyond if they are able to find the ring's owner in time are if they will change their view of love and romance, and within that context if there is a future for the two of them as they make a human connection.
