SYNOPSIS
The poet is a young skeptic who decides to kill himself after feeling the fatigue of an empty summer city. On his way to a mountain far removed from the city, he meets a woman, who like himself, has been abandoned. He is enthralled by the unconscious woman and makes love to her in the forest and takes her to her apartment. The poet begins to write poems about her, sexuality and sexual freedom. 'She is the queen of roses. I am the poet who offers passion and love to her. She came from the land of roses where there exists no shame, no violence, no sin and no jealousy. A beautiful queen rules the land of the roses but with the birth of the princess sin is born with her. The queen's husbands kill each other and even the queen is killed. A despot takes the princess as his bride.' Awakened from a fantasy of spending pleasant days with the princess, the poet finds himself left alone sans the woman, sans clothes and sans poem scripts.
